As @Diego said, when you canāt find competitors, and itās the one that meets your needs: itās pretty obvious.
This is my problem also: I am not very happy (!) of the totally-unpredictable-(no)-delivery experience, Iām considering canceling /delaying my order, but for what?
Bmw, Mercedes, no...
In the Macan EV world, if you need a part:1-2 weeks delay, if you need support 4 days delay ?
Future maintenance will take a long, long time, so let's hope the Porsche cars don't have any problems.
My problem is that I donāt have any issue: I donāt have the car, moreover, no idea of a delivery timeframe!
But my car is quietly sitting under the rain at the dealership, my garage is empty, my ex Tesla S has gone to a new happy owner.
So, I walk ?
It's the same for me.
I'm starting to reconsider buying the Macan EV.
I can cope with the ever-delayed delivery, I can't cope with the uncertainty.
This creates a total loss of confidence in Porsche: they don't master their cars at all... at least not the Macan EV.
Itās maybe a better move to...
And when there is a lack of knowledge, itās becoming impossible to identify problems linked to defective componentā¦
16 days, and still at the dealershipā¦
This is my worst (no!)-delivery experience, by far.
I'm sure you'll find a dealer who doesn't have a gender bias (which, by the way, is so stupid). Porsche has to do something if it wants to sell its Macans to women; besides, Porsche's main objective with this Macan EV is to sell to women. That's where tomorrow's market is (and young people too)...
