It continues to test according to spec, and the AC sensor issue doesn't apply to my car.
At this point I'm going to grab an IR thermometer and keep it in the car, and try to find the conditions that replicate the issue.
After a day with the thing...
Getting used to the one-pedal-driving. It super-offended me at first but it's already starting to feel normal.
It's a lot faster than my base Taycan off the line
Really appreciating the seamless radio and increasingly bitter about it.
Still can't wait to get back...
Well my base Taycan has coil suspension too, but it doesn't feel like this thing.
As for regen options they are not present at all...apparently a recent-ish change, as my wife's 2018 has regen settings.
My Taycan is in the shop so I rented a Model Y from Hertz.
I was genuinely curious about how this would go. Do they have chargers on site?
At this location the answer is NO, surprisingly! Not even level 2 or 1. They shuttle cars back and forth from the nearest Supercharger to keep them...
Dude must be new to the Taycan, failing to understand:
270 is the theoretical max and almost never actually hit
Initial SoC matters and greatly affects the charge speed
Nobody gets 350kW in any car (yet) even though that's what the station can theoretically provide
Ugh sorry buddy. I've had a windshield on order since the original date of this post back in August...I think I am going to cancel the order as my damage is all very tiny nicks, not actual stars or cracks.
At first it bugged me but as the windshield wears down it looks better...it's really...
Oil system makes it a non-starter for me.
Part of the benefit for going EV was getting away from the overly-expensive Porsche service visits, most of which were oil changes or other engine-protection issues like spark plugs, belts etc.
