I hope this is NOT the case - what if you choose a specific charger based on cost/nearby facilities and it won’t PC as the car didn’t choose it for you.
Good to know and it’s definitely something I would like to choose (cool factor only) but it’s one step too far.
I put more faith in semi-autonomous driving (which you can use/not use, as you see fit), than a sensor or stuck motor that won’t have had as much development and testing.
Drove the Turbo and 4S at the PEC in Silverstone today - they had slots 24-27 Nov for potential customers referred to them (Porsche GB) from the relevant Centres.
Both excellent cars but of course the Turbo was brutally quick and!
That's a plus for me.
I test-drove a Taycan and the accelerator pedal-angle caused some minor pain. +1 for the Macan EV.
EDIT - I just got in my car (BMW iX3) and realised instantly it has a floor-attached pedal - DOH! Most of my previous cars have been BMW so this is actually what I am used...
I was on Octopus IOG but moved to Agile.
It was great to have lower overnight for everything, but we (I) soon got bored of doing the washing and drying overnight and the daytime rates are horrendous.
Agile is sometimes more expensive than SVR in the peak period (4-7pm) but even then, IOG is...
Was contacted by Porsche GB and got an invite to drive the Macan at the Silverstone Experience Centre and have breakfast/lunch there too.
Surprised as I haven’t ordered one (and I may even wait for the Cayenne EV), no idea how I was chosen. They had a few time slots on 25-27 Nov, so they must...
I think I’ll get the Race-tex wheel, saw and felt one in a Cayenne and it’s so much nicer.
I can handle a bit of looking after it and besides, it will be a leased car.
