Iāll have to try the gentle method next time on the charger port - Iāve been giving a little push, which although effective is possibly a little rough by the looks of it.
I had this same issue after the last visit to the dealer, however that was for different issues. Iāve just given it a good clean and several pumps through as suggested and its working again. Thanks for sharing!
Youāre lucky - for a lot of us itās always been like that! The latest software update was meant to have resolved it, but itās no better. Unfortunately it may have set a poor baseline for everyone, including those who perhaps werenāt experiencing any issues in the first place.
Iāve had no overheating issues with mine. I do always close the front when itās in there and generally always have air con on, both of which help it to operate optimally. Itās still not particularly fast though, so I tend to just use a USBC cable Iāve got threaded through to the charger port...
Welcome to the world of Macan ownersip! Iāve had my Turbo since November and since A very similar issue to you of it pretty much doing an emergency stop due to reading incorrect road signs (in my case it was signposted 70 mph dropping to 50 mph, but the car read it as 5mph!) Iāve had to turn...
Ha! This presumes that any of those advertised features actually work. Iāve had paid for options on my Turbo which have never worked properly since picking it up last November - both physical and software related, and itās been into the garage 3 times so far for updates/recalls/issues which...
Isn't your last sentence a little harsh? I mean, if a safety/convenience system is provided then you'd expect it to not only work but to be fit for purpose?
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue to me....
My Turbo went into the garage mid-August for a repair on (which turned into a replacement of) the frunk lock, after the car alarm randomly started going off in the middle of the night every couple of hours as the mechanism...
Good grief - that's expensive in Canada! I have 3 years of protection for £800 (roughly $1500 CAD) for tyres and rims. My partner thought I was being overly cautious in buying the plan, only for me to have a serious puncture within the first 6 weeks of ownership that required a replacement...
It was issued in the UK on 6th August. My Turbo was in with Porsche from 31st July for a random frunk lock fault that was causing the alarm to go off randomly every few hours and the car wouldnāt lock (as it thought the frunk was open, when it wasnāt). It was due back to me on the 6th but the SA...
Not quite related to the actual blades, but does anyone elseās car sound like a ticking clock when the wipers are on? The motors on mine are so loud when they change direction! Itās quite a distraction if Iām not listening to music when they are in use.
I had ceramic coating applied before Iād even picked up the car, and itās never juddered like that. Itās supposed to provide extra glide after all, not extra friction. Perhaps replace your wiper places for those recommended earlier in this thread and see if that improves it?
I find that my husband's Taycan is much better than the Macan. The April software update improved it slightly, but it was still unusable. I am pretty sure they did a software update when it was in last week (for a random frunk lock failure that was setting the alarm off as it thought someone...
Subsidising EVs to boost sales numbers, after just whacking EV drivers with higher taxes, which is one of several reasons sales have dropped - itās laughable.
Welcome to the world of Porsche's random error notifications! It's not a normal day unless something pings, errors, slams on the breaks for no apparent reason or has a mind of its own lol
Ah! That's why I haven't seen that then, as my timed charging is controlled through our home automation (I have a geeky husband) rather than the Porsche app.
I've had the most recent software update (installed late June) and other than the traffic sign recognition is marginally more accurate...
That would be handy, but I have to admit that it wasn't even a thought for me when configuring the car, so I guess it would take too much programming for a lesser used online feature. What I do wish they would do was better match the ambient lighting to the range of exterior and interior...
