I was never anti-rolex, but the black sub thing is a bit of a cliche for me given their ubiquity among a certain set of men. The GMT Master is very wearable even relative to a speedmaster. As you said, a good, everyday watch that can also be saved for special occasions. It's just a classic.

This is one of the reasons I sold my Model 3. Way too commonplace around here, and that will continue to be the case. In some ways their success could come back to haunt them if they're seen as basic. Still, a great car and could for electronic car adoption.
