Smart of you to get them PPF covered, for the cost to replace one, especially if the HD matrix design is way over $1,000. I have my PPF installer always cover our headlights, and for the Macan they will also do our turn signals.

Thank you Dave for your precise response. I doubt a HUD windshield image could be moved side to side — nor do I know of a HUD in any vehicle that could be. But that it could be rotated to fix this image (copied from above posted and pasted here) is very good news — and we are all pleased...

Some vehicles have the ability for the driver to adjust the HUD’s horizontal angle. Both, our 2023 Corvette and our 2024 BMW iX have that adjustment capability (very simply/quickly done). On the Macan’s augmented HUD, is this angle… a) driver adjustable; or, b) Porsche dealership adjustable?

I really like the care and precision the installer employed. The results completely echo that commitment and expertise.
