I agree, this needs a lot of refinement/work. Setting the destination of a charger doesn't make it clear that the battery heating process is underway. You have to just stare at the battery temp guage. Why can't there just be a button that says preheat battery to X or for X time?
completely agree that the steering wheel heater on the EV models is not as hot as it was on the ICE models. need at least one level hotter than this. also seems to stay "on" until switched off even after powering car off.
For #1: completely agree, snow, dirt, sometimes water/rain... this occured on the ICE macan's 2021-2023 as well. I had this during a snow storm.
#2: haven't had this issue yet.
I'd also want to know what else wasn't included in on your turbo spec because the Burmeister would be at the bottom of my upgrade list compared to other upgrades that are considered "optional" even for highly spec'd cars.
At this level, spending another few grand isn't a big deal for me at least and I noticed that I didn't get the value from this as much as I thought I would have. In ICE cars I wanted to listen to the engine, in EV's I almost like hearing nothing!
The turbo shortages (production isn't keeping up with demand) should help above and beyond any model year differences; anyone who preordered any Macan EV last year had a 24 basically until the first deliveries in late September/October. 2025's will be made thru August-September of 2025 so...
My thoughts:
Definitely go with matte/satin black rims 22".
Avoid Burmeister stereo.
Get the ionizer.
Carbon trim (especially on steering wheel is nice).
Don't need the rear wiper (car is in Chicago and really never even used it)
I'd skip rear axle steering (use money on one of the items above)...
Bose is plenty good... don't need anything else. Glad I removed rear wiper, glad I added carbon fiber to the side blades, mirrors and steering wheel. Blacked out rear tail lights look great. I prefer the satin black on the rims vs. the glossy and remain glad I did that. I've had other macan's...
Weathertech is the best, in my opinion. This is my fifth Macan, and I am waiting for the product to be released so I can use them on my Macan EV Turbo. They are durable, and the high sides provide more protection against liquids going to the carpet, which is my highest concern.
Thanks for the shout-out. I considered this rim option as well but as they are not really "carbon fiber rims" I thought it was not as appealing and looked too fake so I went the matte black rim route. When I took delivery, I also wondered if I made a mistake in selecting the CF blades as maybe...
purchase the seat belt leather covers from amazon. does wonders for the belt noise when riding over bumps.

Is the piece in the photo above separate from the rest of the front bumper? The part on the underside is much more prone to scuffing with low clearances (driveways, parking garages), and I was wondering if this can be "split off" and replaced separately should it be required in the future.
It...
