Worst 1 year review of the Macan 4 - EVER. 8 months at the dealership for issues.

That's outrageous! I get mad when my audio stops working, but this next level. To me this seems to be clearly a hardware issue that they don't want to pay for. If you have two computers and you flash the same software on them and one doesn't work, it's due to hardware. What software fix is...

    Are you keeping the badges?

My PPF guy had to remove them and when I saw the price for new "Electric" badges I decided it wasn't worth it and only replaced the model designation badges. Do not miss them.

Wheel covers for aerodynamics and protection

I get ads for EV wheel covers, mostly for Teslas. HALOBLK has some neat "Tron looking" covers. I would never cover up my Spyders full time, but I would think about it for a road trip (it would have to be a very long trip) and definitely for the winter due to all the road salt. I think I know...

Poll: How many actual Macan Electric’s have you seen in the wild?

Over in the NY-NJ-PA region, I've seen one so far and that was several months ago. My detailer (who posted pics of mine) told me he's been getting DMs from people saying they've seen me around. Fun story, I was at a parking garage and the attendant goes "I'm not parking this with the rest of the...

    Plastic Trim Care

I've always heard people swear by Back-to-Black, but never tried it myself.

Holes in the roof of the rear passengers.

I love a good Scheidingsnet voor bagageruimte.

Holes in the roof of the rear passengers.

They are quite funky looking. I wondered if a pole goes across to hang my tux

PCA Rocky Mountain Region "Quadruple Bypass" drive this past weekend

Range has bee shockingly good for me, even with 22" wheels. The 4S is rated at 288 miles, but I'm regularly projected at 320 and 340 (if I behave myself). Temperature is 70-80F and AC blasting. I expect after a year and initial battery degradation hits, I'll be more on par with the 288. Final...

    A good thwack - rebooting PCM occasionally…

After two weeks mine needed a thwack! Started off with no sound from CarPlay, tried rebooting while driving, rebooted, InnoDrive then swerved toward oncoming traffic  (grabbed before crossed double yellow), error message popped up saying limited features available (something like that)...

Macan EV Turbo recall: rear axle harness

So the 4S brethren are on the hook too. Mine did make a funny noise the other day :D

Three months and three thousand miles in a 4S

Yeah I’m thinking 27. Taycan wasn’t until 2022. Original ICE Macan wasn’t until 2017. So all had two model years prior.

    Home Assistant (nerdy) charging automation

Very cool! I was hoping the “Departure” schedule would kinda do this but I tried it last night and it still finished 5 hours before my scheduled departure.

Three months and three thousand miles in a 4S

I'm two days in, so still in my "launch control" at every red light phase 🤩 Love my sport sound and InnoDrive is used constantly. I have noise reduction/thermal glass so it's like a tomb in there!

    How is InnoDrive?

Yeah things get "exciting" when the lines start to widen or disappear!

Redtiger F17 Elite Dash Cam review

I did wonder about the rear camera wire if I ever installed one (planning on it). Sounds like making sure your dash cam also records the interior is the next best thing.

Any easy DIY / ready made screen protector like matte film for the center climate control?

I had my wrap guy put on some non-matte ppf while he was at it. Matte would be a much better choice for glare
