I don’t know if it’s the same in USA but in UK all your interaction is with a private dealer not Porsche so it depends how good (or not) the dealer is. The above post is interesting as I have dealt with several different Volvo dealerships with my Polestar. Two have been fantastic, one perfectly...
I have had a Polestar in UK where wipers are not an option and they are lower and you would expect more spray to be thrown up. Apart from occasionally reversing in heavy rain I have never missed a wiper ( and I was nervous about it) certainly never any issue once moving. My dealer strongly...
Should I be worried re Porsche batteries. Losing 10/15% in 3 years seems a lot. My Polestar has not lost any measurable capacity in 3 years and actually drives further on a full charge than when new and they advise charging to 90% which I always do except when100% for a long run. I also hear...
Is this a dealer/location issue? My dealer in UK says cars are coming through and going out without an issue. There were certainly several waiting to be picked up last week and a couple of demonstrators too and I know they came in and were on road in a day as I drove them. I wondered if it was a...
I have a similar problem. I have ordered 20” but love the look of 21” off-road wheels for my 4. I have ordered air suspension even though £2,500 upgrade in UK. So I expect the ride would be fine but I can’t get myself to pay over another £2,000 for 21” wheels with less comfort and 27 miles less...
In the UK you really have two options if you want to be able to access the special EV overnight deals. They have to be smart chargers which Octopus and other such specialists can integrate with. Many chargers will claim they can but they can’t unless the car can be accessed directly which I...
Exactly. I am on the first camp and always ordered the smallest wheels even when I drove ICE cars. I’ve a Polestar at present and if you read reviews it has a terrible ride. If you look at detail they are all on 20 or 21 rims whereas ride is great on 19s
If all season are default option where you are I am seriously jealous. I would love them on mine in UK but have been told I can’t even have them as a cost option. Have to either slide on summer tyres or ditch them and get all seasons. Winter tyres not a practical
Option where I am as far too...
Kissrock
We do use miles in UK!
This difference is pretty standard in EVs.
I currently have a Polestra and the difference between 19” and 20” is very significant and ride is far worse. Range doesn’t seem to vary that much by design so it must mainly be the size.
That’s who I have specified 20”...
In UK my SA said their demo vehicles are provided by Porsche and they don’t have any choice in spec. He suggested they were loaded with options to help sell the options as once you had seen them you would want to spec them too.
Lovely and my choose of colour. However I saw one with off road package and 21” grey off road wheels which looked even better in my view. Wheels matched beautifully. Unfortunately no pictures as it was a clients car waiting for collection
Being in UK with a Polestar with adaptive headlights I can tell you they are a total game changer and I couldn’t do without them now. They were the first option on my list but I doubt I would have bothered with LED matrix lights without them being adaptive. Just wait until you get the update you...
I got shown all over demonstrator turbo on Tuesday and booked test drive for next Wednesday on Macan 4. Which was due today. They said test drives were starting yesterday.
Porsche Colchester.
They also had several customer cars in showroom so saw several examples.
Aventurine Green with off road...
I think this is well out of date.
I had an interesting discussion with my SA this week. They know that Porsche recommend 80% but they always charge their demonstrators and loan Taycans to 100% as they don’t know when it will be needed and have seen no degradation over 3 years.
Similarly I...
