They must have all sort of supply chain issues because I ordered mine in March and it arrived on 9.10. Other people got theirs a month ago and ordered in June. Might be nice to ask your SA which options might deprioritise the build.
I know the feeling... My Model 3 was validated for off-road because my partner did a front flip (by mistake) in Gerês … That's why I went for the Macan in white so I can quickly transform it to an ambulance when needed ?
I got nothing. Still waiting for delivery…Couldn’t find any info about keys/fobs it comes with so I started looking on Porsche’s website for a replacement one and couldn’t find that either, that’s why I posted.
It seems that it's not available on their website... Only for the old generation Macan. Do I need to ring the dealer or am I missing something? Thanks ?
Any recommendations for wheels? Also how safe it is to take off the plastic fenders? I didn't go for the Offroad pack cos I didn't like the design but also if I brake the plastic, it should be much cheaper to replace than the aluminium cladding?! Even tho that aluminium might protect the more...
I was wondering if anyone is planning to take their Macan off-road? Care to share your experience?
(Yet take delivery of mine but I am planning to do some mild trails. Is it an awful idea?)
I only use CarPlay as last resort. Before Tesla introduced cameras/radar notifications, I would just open Waze on my phone to give me alerts about speed cameras but use the native navigation. Planning to do the same with the Macan.
Oh no ? Never order innodrive + electric covers + standard interior. It seems like unlucky combo. But you are right, only fans and unlucky customers are on the forums. Before ordering my Tesla I thought I was going to have tons of problems based on what I read online but I ended up having 0.
This whole thing reminds of the fail launches of Polestar. I had a Polestar 3 on order for 1 year and they kept delaying it, eventually I cancelled and they didn't manage to launch for another 1.5 years... They launched it this year and it's full of bugs... Polestar are excused for being a...
My order got delayed actually a second time. This time with no pickup date... I am kind of disappointed by Porsche tbh... When I ordered my first car (Tesla), everything was smooth and was delivered on time. Is anyone familiar with the order cancellation processes?
Ah... My bad, I was making assumptions that this is a standard feature these days (Tesla, Polestar, BMW, etc). Does it have something similar like locking when walking away via the key fob? I recently rented a BMW series 2 and it had it (which was a surprise).
Many thanks!
