David, what are your thoughts regarding the “accel lag” in Macan 4 that many folks mentioned? How does it help with the “car control” philosophy? Maybe I wrong, but instant torque should help improve the feedback, rather than delayed feedback.

Your post is pretty opinionated, generally doesn’t reflect reality and assigns “tags” (technocrats) to what is not so polar. I, for example, do appreciate Macan EV for 95% of what it is. But I was really hoping for “no accel lag” because this is something that I really don’t like about ICEs...

In the assembly videos they always show how someone checks the car quality with fingers to make sure it’s smooth. It makes me wonder how it’s possible to overlook the cover sticking out so much. It’s like some relatively high manager decided to ignore it. I’d speculate that they received a batch...

Do you have Sport Chrono package? I think the Sport+ mode comes with Sport Chrono for Macan 4.

In my case, fix date Nov 12. The car is out of the factory and I have the VIN. But PCNS still said that the service is not available.

Does anyone with Macan 4 have working TYD in the US? Porsche support told me that “this feature is not available for the model”.

I think this is the major one for now.

It might change your timeline. For example, when I ordered my Macan, thermal/noise glass option would delay freeze by a few weeks. Without this option, the freeze was in two days.

VIN is already there when “vehicle enters body shop”.

I thought Macan got a time-machine feature ?.

Not a representative experience, but here is my interaction with SF dealer: I sent them an email, asking very specifically if they have a custom allocation and I shared my desired config. They chose to ignore my request, and instead replied with a boilerplate link to look at their lot inventory...

If you divide $25k by 24 months, it’s another $1k per month. Total of $2k/months lease sounds about as good as any other shared. No?
