David, what are your thoughts regarding the “accel lag” in Macan 4 that many folks mentioned? How does it help with the “car control” philosophy? Maybe I wrong, but instant torque should help improve the feedback, rather than delayed feedback.
Your post is pretty opinionated, generally doesn’t reflect reality and assigns “tags” (technocrats) to what is not so polar.
I, for example, do appreciate Macan EV for 95% of what it is. But I was really hoping for “no accel lag” because this is something that I really don’t like about ICEs...
In the assembly videos they always show how someone checks the car quality with fingers to make sure it’s smooth. It makes me wonder how it’s possible to overlook the cover sticking out so much. It’s like some relatively high manager decided to ignore it. I’d speculate that they received a batch...
It might change your timeline. For example, when I ordered my Macan, thermal/noise glass option would delay freeze by a few weeks. Without this option, the freeze was in two days.
