My original Turbo spec is fairly heavily loaded with options so when I build a 4S to pick up all of the standard equipment of the Turbo plus match the options, the difference is just over $4k Canadian dollars. Maybe I've made a mistake. Here are the codes if anyone is interested:

Don't get wrong, I'm sold on the Macan and only passed up on an allocation in April in order to wait for a demo vehicle before locking an order. I'm just not confident with the 22 inch wheel/tire profile (even though the car looks best with 22s).
Currently I have the 21 Turbo wheels in my...
Thanks. Wasn't sure if that photo was just one of the vehicles on display.
Glad to hear that you were left with a good impression even with 22 inch wheels. I'm still nervous about potential harshness of low profile tires with our cracked and pot-holed roads up here in Toronto.
I believe that the air suspension allows this extra "offroad" clearance for any Macan, even if the Offroad Design Package is not selected. My understanding is that the Offroad Design Package sets the "normal" vehicle height up by 10mm, but the full range of heights/clearances can be set by the...
Hi Diego, picking up on your roof rail comment, was there something in particular about them that you didn't like? I generally select roof rails so I can have the flexibility to use crossbars for bikes, but if the rails really detract from the overall look of the car, I may go for a tow-hitch...
Ah, thanks for confirming. So the rails are a satin black (not glossy)? I thought I saw a more recent photo that showed gloss black roof rails. I prefer the satin black.
So here's a quirk in the Configurator: select the roof rails in aluminum, then deselect the aluminum window trim. You end up with Turbonite roof rails along with your other Turbonite trim:
I believe this is the 21 inch version of the Turbo wheel (photo below). In a high resolution version of the photo (can be downloaded here Porsche celebrates the start of electromobility at its Leipzig factory - Porsche Newsroom), you can just make out the 255/45 R21 on the sidewall. Second...
This is an interesting observation and I tend to agree that there is a somewhat retro look to the RS wheels that seems out of place with the modern lines and proportions of the Macan. They are beautiful wheels but, to my eyes at least (purely subjective), they don't work as well as say the 22...
Some good close up shots of the less reviewed colours, especially helpful for those interested in Copper Ruby Metallic. Also shows Interior Accents in Neodyne. English subtitles available.
I think this will look even better with the Turbonite crest.
This exercise of studying the images/videos has been useful. I am starting to lean towards the Macan Design wheel. My initial reluctance with this wheel is that it looks a lot like the Taycan Turbo Aero wheel which I've seen in person...
You've heard something definitive about a price increase for MY25? I expect something but even my dealer said it could be just inflationary, could be zero.
I've decided to give up my allocation to wait for the next round, in part because I'm hoping there may be a car to drive in August when the next allocation is likely to lock (my speculation on timing). I'm also concerned about ride quality so I've been spec'ing the 21s but, admittedly, I do like...
