Dealers offer these for one stop convenience.
Dealer Wheel and Tire packages are negotiable and can be competitive. I purchased them through the dealer since the claim process is more seamless when you have a tire nail or wheel damage.
I would never let a Dealer handle Washing or Detailing on...
Anyone actually had the time to watch this video and provide a summary of the findings.
Kyle's videos run long all the time with helpful information but no clear structure.
This is the data on the differences between Power vs. Overboost Power (with LC):
This is the explanation of Launch Control.
Please refer to the manual on required conditions and how to engage it.
Have fun!
Please see this post of mine regarding InnoDrive section in the manual.

+1 to this explanation. One is the real wiper add and second is just a clip-on trim in high gloss black to the rear wiper that must be optioned. Any wiper will have intermittent function since this is standard function.
Turbo has significantly more performance, so that is what you are paying for after standard to the Turbo options are accounted for as @mkim90k outlined above. This is the data. The rear motor with 900Amp inverter generating 833 lb. ft. of torque has to be the most expensive part of the package.
I cannot speak about Macan EV service intervals but cannot see it being any different from Taycan.
The dealer will make their money on service one way or another, so do not be fooled.
Taycan's first interval is 2 years or 20k miles and involves a multi-point inspection, brake fluid flush, cabin...
The dealer can measure the official SoH but based on owner measurements via OBD on the Taycan forum the difference is plus/minus 1%. The importance of measuring it yourself is to identify any anomalies in battery cells or sudden drop in the SoH ahead of time so you do not miss any intermediate...
Great to hear that you like your Macan EV with very helpful insights from firsthand experiences.
I can chime in on the optimal charging approach having read what's out there with the following outcome:
Overall: The HV batteries are very resilient and will outlast the car.
Daily: Keep daily SoC...
This is how it works on the Taycan, however, as soon as I start driving, the SoC drops fast and then becoming stable, so to me standing for a week uses the battery but does not report it until 15 minutes into the drive. I wonder if it works the same on the Macan EV.
I can see the confusion since the manual does not call it Innodrive but rather Drive Assist.
Please reference Driving Assistance section of the manual. This snippet from the Macan EV manual shows elements of what is Innodrive in a Taycan.
I am not surprised the dealer does not know this as they...
This is clearly someone who has no clue how Porsche plays mind games with their packaging and makes a ton of money from endless options. The entire point is to be disappointed with the standard anything and option for more, it is that simple. I have accepted this after I under optioned our first...
+1 to this. I spoke to the dealer and they specifically have a Launch Vehicle Macan 4 for customers to test drive. They told me that this is what generates their orders including the latest Panamera. I did not ask if the vehicle is for sale with some hold period, but this is pretty standard. For...
This part is correct > in North America, the plug-in EVSE charger is limited to 9.6kWh
This is incorrect > For a hardwired wall box, you could have up to 19.2kWh.
The correct info is > Macan EV can be charged from external EVSE up to a maximum of 11kWh. There is no benefit of having a 19.2kWh...
I have it optioned on all 3 of our cars that are not Macan EVs to be clear.
PTV+ by design is to enhance cornering and turning stability, so we have it for endless round abouts in our city. However, I cannot say that it helps in winter conditions with my understanding that tires and other...
I am 100% sure this is a flip of a switch config change to enable full Matrix function, however, the dealer would follow a formal process to make any such changes similar to a TSB or an XYZ campaign that has specific instructions on how to perform it, tools to use, version of software to have...
This is just software and fully enabled on Canadian versions for example.
However, I would like to see more compelling evidence that this will happen retroactively, than just hope it will happen. The process involves certification that is a cost to the manufacturer and then this is most...
