The two are different cars, each with their own advantages. Hard to compare really. If you want a sporty good looking and driving car, get the Macan. If you want space, efficiency and comfort, get the iX. My wive has the iX, loves it.

It does, if the car brakes on the engine with OPD beyond a certain level it turns on the brake lights.

Coming from a Tesla X, this is really impressive. Who cares about the distance on a single charge, it is about the total time to travel.
