Hi , not sure itās your power supplier but the maker of the wall charger you have. Iāve a thread open as I cannot schedule charging from a PodPoint charger that has for last few years happily charged an Audi and a Skoda. Only listed yesterday but so far someone withe a Zappi charger and another...
Hi, I phoned PodPoint after 17:00 took 3mins on their after hours service.
I specifically asked about the vehicle selection and was told it should not make a lot of difference, if vehicle not there pick nearest one. Informed the guy that the Taycan is potentially a different platform as the...
Hi, Mollieanna,
direct charging set the āat homeā on PodPoint to Manual. The PodPoint light should be solid blue. Plug cable into car and it should charge.
I just spoke with PodPoint technical support (02072474114) and essentially they are not aware of any issues with the Macan yet. But he...
I wonder whether, if the dealer who sold to you knew you had a charger, there is an mis-selling argument here. My PodPoint was the charger offered by Audi when I got my Q8 so at least all in VW group.
At the moment my dealer is interested as with the the car scheduling the charging Iāve had a...
Hi, Mollieanna,
For a month I was charging using PodPoint scheduling with no problem and can still charge directly (but am not going to wait until midnight to plug the car in and get up before 05:00 to make sure I get night time tariff ). Can you charge directly?
When Iāve been trying to...
Thanks for info, Iāll let you know what happens.
My charger is a Pod Point which could schedule charges on my previous Audi Q8 55 Etron but my partners Skoda Enyaq goes refuses and gives an error but fine if we use cars timer.
No I donāt have the package; the chrono package gives extra settings other than suspension. From the central console with air suspension you can get a sport plus low low suspension settingā¦ā¦.. on my local roads including highways it feels brutal and I stuck to standard size wheels (too many...
Tomorrow 13th December my Macan 4 is back into the dealer, having been there for two weeks (two visits) since picking it up on 31st October.
This time, since 29th November (and an OTA update that day) the car will not charge other than directly. A scheduled charge from the wall charger gives a...
I have a Macan 4 and that is the same. The active air suspension lowest setting⦠sports plus is only available via central console as no other settings change(?). Having tried it a few times on UK roadsā¦ā¦ā¦. Iād like to keep my teeth.
On getting my Macan the plug and charge would not work because during initialisation of my Porsche credentials the certificate needed didnāt load. The car went back to the dealer due to assistance system failures. This involved a sequence of ārebootā actions (these were defined by Porsche DE...
From my reading of the manuals, driving experience and faults/failures. In the UK my Macan 4 picks up speed limits from the mapping data and should do so from seeing signs but does not/not reliably see actual signs and does not see any other traffic signs at all (I have innodrive) and I doubt it...
Already have done, I have a document that has a table of all faults/issues that I periodically send to the workshop manager who is the dealership āchampionā for the Macan EV.
I did find out that even though there is no automatic change in the set value that with the with Speed limits selected...
Having just picked my car up after another week back with the dealer (charging problem) I checked my car on the way home and it has the same issue. Additionally, there is no traffic sign recognition and display as is described in the manual.
Hi, Macan no more expensive than the Audi Q8. Would say the Skoda Enyaq systems are impressive and reliable and the car was half the priceā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ BUT it does not drive as well! Thats no surpris.
Sounds like Iāve had a similar experience, swapped my Audi Q8 55 Etron for a Macan 4 as wanted something smaller; also have an Skoda Enyaq EV. Neither of these vehicles has ever had any faults or failures and all functions worked. The Macan now, since the OTA remapping, does not have speed sign...
Iāve just emailed my Porsche dealer to ask if an OTA patch was pushed down on Monday/Tuesday morning. My Macan 4 has not had any speed sign or adaptive cruise control faults yesterday afternoon and two trips out todayā¦ā¦.. fingers crossed!
Still no traffic sign (other than speed limit) recognition.
A couple of questions:
- besides the speed sign recognition my car does not show/recognise any other traffic signals signs ( even checked they do read with our Enyaq), does anyones car with the speed sign issue read other traffic signs?
- anyone with issue that the Proactive Occupant...
