Dunno if related, I had a similar problem with a couple smart chargers years ago. Some of these wifi enabled smart EVSEs seem to need "authentication" from the mother ship before charging. Once I turned them into dumb EVSEs by disabling their wifi, I've not had an issue.

Just what I wanted to hear!

There are 2025s on the road. I don't see the 2024 Macan listed on the official EPA site, but there are a bunch of Taycans. only a couple 2025 Taycans if that means anything. Wonder if there is some mislabeling?
And then, no one seems to have a calibrated monitor.
I finally saw a FMB live when it drove by as I was closing the deal on mine. A customer drove his in for service and I got a good look at it. On my monitor, I'd say it was closer to your picture than the others. In the outdoor cloudy sky...
Portable EVSE chargers in the US have a 40 amp limit. The UL listed ones will limit the current to 40 (9.6kW) regardless of what the EV wants. Some EVSEs can be configured for a lower limit, 32 amp typically.
I've read here that some properly hard wired EVSEs can supply 48 amps (11 kW), but...
Some were thinking that the replacements were larger diameter and that would explain the speedo error.
STD 20 inch Macans tires are
Front: 7.5J x 20 ET32 wheels with 235/55 R20 tires
Rear: 10J x 20 ET49 wheels with 285/45 R20 tires
Are you sure the replacement fronts are 235/45 20, not 235/55...
The video kinda illustrates how daunting and frustrating learning a new GUI can be after using another for awhile, let alone learning the cross country EV world from scratch. My wife has no interest in these kinds of details and is primary why she and her friends shy away from EV. Unlike us...
Did you US based customers get a TYD invite from Porsche? I received the invite the day I put a deposit down, November 22nd, before the activate my Porsche ID account message. They had been having tech difficulties, so the first time I clicked on the DTYD button the server times out...
If I recall correctly, US support started for Macans ordered mid November more or less. After a couple technical difficulties put my account in a bad state. Porche customer support fixed it for me. So someone there knows about support for Macans. I don't recall offhand if there is a work around...
Wasn't there a review or discussion recently about recent ICE Macans being produced with perceived lower quality. Perhaps it is a Porsche wide thing in general, in their more entry level offerings? Maybe on can option up an ICE Macan to better look and feel options.
Those that expect to drive in slippery conditions, or will be driving like they stole it, will usually spec the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) with the rear axle steering. You may also have to move up to a 4S to get that, however.
If you intend to install a dash cam at some point, the...
I've seen quite a bit of discussion here in one of the threads. I've read here that PTV+ has a benefit on slippery surfaces as the std rear diff is open. My SA tells me that just about everyone that specs rear wheel steering also specs PTV+. He would encourage PTV+ if you also spec rear stearing.
In my case, the freeze date reported by TYD moved a couple times, starting from 1 Dec back to 26 Nov (changed on the 26th) then to 28 Nov then to 1 Dec, Actual date turned out to be 2 Dec, just as the dealer was indicating all along. There is a few time zones between Europe and the US to...
I was just commenting on the resale value consideration.
I've seen quite a few PFFs and ceramic coats that detract from the car's looks, but thats just me. I like the native paint with perhaps a little wax. In a hostile sandy environment I think replacing PPF is easier than repainting...
