    Drivers Side B-Pillar Flex

They said "If you would like I can schedule another appointment to try and come up with a better solution for you." Not sure if I want them in messing around (and potentially causing another rattle). Guess it's time to finally fill out that survey they keep asking for!

    Drivers Side B-Pillar Flex

@ck123, that was the issue! I showed some paper where the B-pillar meets the roof and the rattle is gone! Next step is emailing the dealer where the foreman said it's normal and ask if this is how a $100k car should look. Good times!

    Drivers Side B-Pillar Flex

Over the past month, I've developed a flexing/popping noise from the drivers' side B-Pillar when the car is slowing to a stop or accelerating. Of course the dealer said it's normal. However, the passenger side doesn't do it and it just started a month ago. It's more annoying (ok, incredibly...

    MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

My '25 4S is at the dealer for the three current campaigns. I asked about the software update and was told it will be coming down the road.

    Porsche CCS to NACS adapter

Ordered 9/9. It finally arrived unannounced today. Includes a nice storage box.

    Porsche CCS to NACS adapter

I purchased mine on Amazon as I was taking a long road trip. Ended up not needing it as all the EA's were working (amazing!) so I just returned it.

    Porsche NACS complimentary adapter email

I finally called PCNA because I ordered one through Amazon and wanted to return it if Porsche was providing one. Spoke to three different people. Finally was told it will ship when it ships, and they have no way to track my order. They said, "one day it will just show up at your door."...

Charging Planning on Phone App is useless

We just took our first road trip from Palm Springs to Portland, OR and back (1100 miles each way). Granted, it was through CA which has a lot of charging options... but I did have one time that the PCM directed me to a closed station. Thankfully I was cross-checing with ABRP and the EA apps so...

    USA - Southern CA - 2024 Macan 4

Fellow Coachella Valley owner: when I sold my Taycan, Porsche Palm Springs gave me the lowest value, and told me to go to CarMax. I went to CarMax and the quote was $2k higher the PPS. Ended up contacting Porsche Riverside via email who gave me the most value (and then I ordered my Macan...

First Road Trip Palm Springs to Portland

Since I'm based out of Palm Springs, we have only one set of 4 EA chargers in the city. Often at least one is out of service. Frequently there is a wait (especially if Bolts are charging). My fear, especially on the first day of our trip which was 12 hours driving, was finding a charging...

First Road Trip Palm Springs to Portland

Decided to road trip our six month old Macan 4S from Palm Springs to Portland. I've done the drive 14 times in the past 4 years. 13 times were in our old Model 3 and last year was in our Cayenne. This year I decided (after watching daveo4ev's trip to WA) to try the Macan. I did my research...

Has Porsche improved Money Factor rates on Macan EV recently? Here is why I ask:

Here are the residuals. I think they are the same (they don't say "special.")

Has Porsche improved Money Factor rates on Macan EV recently? Here is why I ask:

This is what I just pulled from the lease calculator site I use. The rates are slightly lower.

    Tilting passenger-side mirror when reversing.

I have the same problem. Reset everything and it worked for about a week. Now when I go from R to D, the mirror doesn't move back up. I do enjoy this car, but these little gremlins are starting to drive me nuts.

Unable to sync SiriusXM Favorites message

Every time I start the car this message pops up. Not life-threatening, but just annoying. Has anyone else seen this message and if so, did you have a solution to clear it? It seems crazy that I have to hit "OK" and then the station I'm listening to. Neither our Cayenne or Taycan had this issue.

First mini road trip with Macan ev turbo

I remember my first road trip in my Tesla. The nav said I would get to my charging stop at 4%. I was stressing so bad the last 30 miles or so... but I rolled in right at 4%, just like the car said. I never worried after that. Yesterday I took the Macan up the mountain and back down. The...

[Trip Report] - A Pacific Northwest Family wedding

Thanks, Daveo4ev, for these fantastic and informative trip reports. I still want to road trip from Palm Springs to our house in Portland but my husband is nervous... we did it 14 times in the Tesla but he's a bit apprehensive about the CCS charging. I figure if you can do the coast freeway we...

Moving from California to New Jersey with my Macan EV 4s. With SUMMER TIRES. Will I be OK with these in winter / snow?

When I had my BMW, it came with run flats. The car was leased and I didn't really care for the run flats, so I purchased new tires and stored the original ones in my garage. When the lease was up, I just swapped the original tires back onto the car.

Will you trade in your Macan electric for a Cayenne electric?

Same camp here. We had the Cayenne e-hybrid and sold it when we bought the Macan. The Cayenne was a fantastic car... rock solid (better than the EV Macan) and amazing on a road trip. However, it was just too big. The Macan is just the right size for us.

    Software updates and faults

When I made the service appointment, they said "it might be a couple of days, it might take a week." Good times. Mine was in the shop for just a day, though. No issues since, although like FLHusky experienced, I had to reprogram Homelink.
