Video: “Living With An Electric Macan.”

Yes, I felt compelled to add in my own "living with a Macan" review to counter some of the comments made by the reviewer. In fact I think it would be fun if those of us with our cars would comment to give a “real living with a Macan review”. Lol

check out the rear-seat fold down! did you know you can rotate the "latch" so that there is a more "upright" position for the seat backs, making the cargo area have more space??? Check it out!! Just checked it out...wow This is one of those things I honestly would have never found out about...

From Taycan 4s CT to Macan Turbo Volcano Grey Metallic with XPEL Stealth PPF

Yes I was recently in the configuration and saw you could pick from 5 colour options. So is that the silver logo because it looks very white in the picture? I guess it looks white up again the gloss black blades

From Taycan 4s CT to Macan Turbo Volcano Grey Metallic with XPEL Stealth PPF

Hi, Great pictures. I noticed the side blade has the word Turbo on it. Is that a decal stuck on or it is etched into the blades? I wonder if you would mind taking a close up of it as I am considering getting new carbon fiber blades and if I do I might add the lettering if it looks good. To...

[FAQ] - North America - NEMA 14-50 vs. 6-50 - new EV owner garage setup…

Indeed. I would not have noticed the discoloration on the Levition because I rarely disconnect it until we got into the discussion and it was pointed out. It is a bit concerning so I am changing both of them.

[FAQ] - North America - NEMA 14-50 vs. 6-50 - new EV owner garage setup…

Ok I am convinced but I do not see ceramic in the data sheet of the Hubbell outlet that was linked so are there multiple quality grades of the Hubbell outlet. Please show me the one that has the ceramic material.

[FAQ] - North America - NEMA 14-50 vs. 6-50 - new EV owner garage setup…

This is the new one I got. Also got off the phone with the Electrician. He said they all need to pass the same standard but happy to swap out the one below with a Hubble if I wanted him to.

    Charging Help!

Hum...ok so now you have me thinking a bit on this. I thought that all industrial NEMA 14-50R were built to meet the same standard but this looks like that may not be the case. Although I have had no issues that does not mean I might not have them. Thanks I put a call into my electrician if...

    Charging Help!

Yes indeed. I just showed the electrician the 14-50 plug and off he went. I actually have two of these in my garage …long story but I have two EVs but I only charge one at a time although I suppose I could as they are on separate circuits.

    Charging Help!

50 amp and I used the 1450 plug that came with the charger so your electrician will install the correct dryer outlet (I.e a 1450 outlet) and did not need any other cables.

    Charging Help!

Hi so here is how I set up my garage charger. I just had an electrician install a 220v dryer plug and I always use the charger that came with the car ( I did not buy a wall box or additional charger). He charged me $250 and that was it. Easy and inexpensive.

    Tailgate won’t close completely

Good. One further comment regarding resale. Although it will not show up on Carfax most people who are buying a car ask the question " has there ever been any damage or accident?" A fully transparent honest answer to that will at a minimum complicate your negotiation. It’s a point to bring up if...
