Search the forum. There’s been discussion of this. Changes made to the Normal setting are not persistent (they revert upon restart); changes made to other modes are.

I once had this issue in my Audi all road. It was a bad sensor. After replacement, it worked like a charm.

Position matters. If you haven’t tried moving the phone left/right and waiting to see if the adjustment works, give that a go. I find I need to put mine towards the right side to work.
