Youāre saying 1.5kwh per mile? So about 60 miles of range? Thatās crazy!
I have wingbar edge with ski rack, I have been getting 2.6 miles per kWh at 70mph freeway trips with two pair of skis. Mine are also very quiet, I hear a little wind noise at low speed but much better than most Iāve had...
The bottom cushions are the same as far as I can tell. I went with the comfort seats because I couldnāt get comfortable with the headrest on the sport during an extended test drive. My neck just didnāt like it for some reason, so I opted for the adjustable headrest.
Seems low, but remember speed is important. The highway range tests are done at 60mph. I donāt doubt I could get that range at this speed.
I did a trip test in my Turbo and got 31.4kwh per 100 miles at 72mph cruise, 302 miles range.
I repeated this once after winter wheels were installed...
Even if it has changed, the idea that the arenāt capable of maintaining software on two different revisions of hardware is kind of unbelievable, when they (and everyone else) are already capable of maintaining many models, with many hardware configurations and features.
Usually when sales...
I think maybe people are reading that in a way other than you intended.
What I assume you meant is that the older cars wonāt get some of the features that MY ā26 has via software.
Or are you really saying that you donāt think MY24 or 25 Macans will ever get another update, at all, period...
I think it would be really tough to get rid of it completely, probably why every EV/PHEV Iāve driven has it to some degree. Iām sure there are harmonics and resonances that make it more pronounced at different RPM.
Good point! One thing Iād add is that turning the drive mode knob at all on the wheel brings up all of the suspension buttons on the touch screen, so you can fine tune to whatever ride height is available if you want a built-in shortcut.
I only hear the motors in the Macan when the sport sound is off. They are very quiet but possible to hear when they run at a certain RPM. Maybe it isnāt the same as what OP is experiencing but it is the sound Iāve heard in every EV and PHEV Iāve owned - it was most noticeable in our Volvo XC90...
My PPF installer precision cut the film. Itās not noticeable unless you look for it. Some people like it, some donāt, but point is that between this and someone just removing your badge and reapplying, a capable installer has options that donāt require you to buy new badges.
Yes, you can go from off-road (highest suspension) to sport or sport plus (lowest suspension), just by turning the knob on the steering wheel. Not automatic but very simple.
Last I checked that feature was only available in the Taycan.
I think it didnāt depend on car software either. It was something like Porsche app integration with Apple Maps. So as long as your car is talking to the Porsche servers and you have the Porsche app installed, Apple Maps can be aware...
No, we are talking AC here. Thereās no scenario where the battery canāt handle a full AC charge. And 5 minutes on AC I doesnāt change battery temperature much.
You might be limited from a full DC speed if you plug in with a frozen battery but a car that has been driven even In winter is going...
Today I plugged in at a ski resort and was getting 1.6kw with the ālow rate of chargeā notice. Five minutes later it kicked up and started giving the full 6kw, and Iāve never had a problem at home, so I figured it was the resortās hardware at fault.
What happens if you walk away for ten minutes...
