I agree on the mirrors — exterior colour would have finished the car off nicely. I’d also add the window trim in high-gloss black to the list, as I think it would tie in better with the rest of the spec.
That said, those are very minor points in what is otherwise a fantastic build. Once it’s...
I’ve had quite a few people taking photos of the car while I’m stopped in traffic or parked up.
Starting to feel like I’m being papped!
Most of the traditional Porsche owners I’ve spoken to have been really impressed, although the occasional one has been a bit cynical.
I’d be surprised if they don’t fit. I’m not sure how straightforward the swap is though, and as the bumper sensors are disturbed they will need calibrating afterwards.
Very nice build.
I’m always wary of commenting on builds as everyone values different options differently, so this is just a personal observation.
As you don’t have any other high-gloss black trim on the car, do you think it might look better and more cohesive if you kept the original window...
Bringing the thread back on track…
I’d expect Porsche to introduce a mid-cycle facelift around 2028/29, potentially bringing across some of the latest battery technology and infotainment from the Cayenne, or whatever new systems Porsche has developed by then.
We’re also expecting the new ICE...
It looks stunning
Especially on a non-turbo, as it blends well with the plastic trim
I’ve seen someone on there who’s applied stealth ppf on a volcano grey non-turbo looks equally as good
Agreed on the distinction. That said, for efficiency, coasting is usually better than regen. The most efficient energy recovery is not needing to recover the energy at all.
Now the weathers improved and I’m mainly doing urban driving it shows just over 350miles for 100% charge on my MY26 Turbo.
When I picked it up in December it used to show 260.
