My Porsche app: New ‘Online Software Update’ / OTA Function?

I was just in the My Porsche app, and within Vehicle Details > Functions, I noticed an ā€˜Online Software Update’ tile… would someone mind confirming if this new? Or was I just not paying attention beforehand?

iOS 26 CarPlay breaks the navigation integration?

Same, except I’ve been on the public beta track - no issues with Apple Maps (or Waze or ABRP) and nav display with an iPhone 16 Pro.

70 MPH vs 80 MPH Range for Macan 4

I watched this yesterday… we all know range is better at lower speeds, but I really appreciated this level of detail and some insight into the difference we might see in practice.

At What Speed Does Your Spoiler Extend?

Then that source document’s probably exactly the one I’ve been searching for! Do you know if it’s still accessible / available to me somewhere?

At What Speed Does Your Spoiler Extend?

I put ChatGPT through its paces with translating, as well - I was impressed! What I’m really after is the full suite of this nerd-level information that’s not outlined in the manual… I know there’s more beyond this spoiler detail floating around out there - here’s an example. I also feel like I...

At What Speed Does Your Spoiler Extend?

I really appreciate this level of detail… I’ve seen a few bits of material from this document (perhaps different documents from the same source?) around the forum over the last year and a half, and I’ve gotta know - is a copy of the entire thing available somewhere?

Wall Street Journal Article on Porsche

There are a few threads about this on Rennlist… It seems quite a few folks received word directly from their SAs / dealers that orders that started production by March 31 (seemingly regardless of completion date) are ā€œprice protectedā€. It’s unclear if that’s just regarding a potential increase...

Wall Street Journal Article on Porsche

Apparently there’s still no clear messaging among the dealer’s team… guess there’s nothing to do but just sit down and keep wringing my hands!

Wall Street Journal Article on Porsche

Price protecting March-produced vehicles would be a huge win for me - I started production 3/27, and it’s been sitting at Emden since 4/8… Reached out to my SA for confirmation a bit ago - I’ll update chime back in once I’ve gotten some clarity.

Has anyone taken their Macan on a track yet?

I’ve done the 911 ā€œ2 vs. 4ā€ with the Carrera S and 4S (45 minutes in each) before, and that was a really neat experience - very cool to see those cars back-to-back like that and understand the differences between those drivetrains.

Has anyone taken their Macan on a track yet?

I did this back in January at PECATL, and had an absolute BLAST. My biggest issue was that the car was as fast (or faster) than everything else out there, so I felt like I was always having to be careful about not riding everyoneā€˜s ass ?

    Tariff anxiety . . .

Just as a data point - I reached out my SA who says they (the dealership, presumably - no idea if this is the PCNA 'party line') "... have been told to expect, assuming they do implement tariffs that affect our vehicles (it may just be on raw goods / materials), is a 7.5% increase. However, we...

Humming from Overhead console or PCM?

I feel like I might've noticed an extremely similar noise for the very first time while driving our Taycan yesterday... Didn't think about it again on the way home (music was back on) - but I'll listen for it next time I'm in it and confirm.

    Dealer Fees

I see a "Dealer Processing Fee" for $901... and then tax and some other Georgia-specific fees - Electronic Title Registration ($95), GA 'Warranty Right Fee' ($3), Title ($18), and Tag ($25).

Doug DeMuro's Macan Turbo Electric EV Review

It's great - those carbon fiber accents are pretty special!
