this is most likely not accurate as noted - I highly doubt the AI is trained on the phantom release notes for this specific release - I would humbly suggest this post be editted/removed as it's unlikely to be factual.
I would venture it's common need to reset the PCM occasionally to maintain operational readiness …

NOTE: some but not all of this information carries over to the 22kW European markets - but it's not a 100% equal set of issues/concerns/beneifits
was a common and repeated post on the Taycan forum for years between 2019 and 2024 - and people were always divided…there is no one "correct" answer...
interesting to see this back on the price list…
no word or information (from Porsche or otherwise) as to if this unit is a new-improved unit that could have fewer problems than the gen-1 Taycan's units (the 22/19.2 kW OBC's are notoriously unreliable, and Porsches has even stopped replacing...
to clarify you're talking about the CCS adapter correct?
there are two types of NACS adapters - so far Porsche has only provided a CCS to NACS fast charging adapter…that one should work
there is another NACS adatper - Tesla tap or other's - not provided by Porsche - that's for AC/slow...
should work fine - the Porsche model is just a rebranded Lectron Vortex Plus

no obvious reason it's Porsche specific…
this is no problem
watts = volts * amps
voltage varies and can go high or low versus ideal - current flow is what matters and 48 amps @ 250v is more than 11 kw - this is true even for euro where it’s 3 phase with each phase being 16 amps for 48 amps total
what you are seeing is nominal grid...
two Tesla Universal Wall chargers configured in "powersharing" mode will share the same single Electrical circuit and charge 2 EV's at the same time splitting the load - max power from each of these units is 48 amps (60 amp breaker) - you can configure upto to 6 of them to share > 200 amps -...
I've been seriously considering an upgrade…I was in Monaco today and finally found a suitable replacement for the Macan Turbo EV…
handles good, excellent acceleration, quicker…but it's an ICE/Hybrid…but yeah - this will do if you're looking for something more sporty…it's a bit down on passenger...
great post - thanks for sharing
2 charging ports
1 charging port = NACS for fast charging - NACS native and CCS via Adapter
1 charging port = J-1772 for AC (slow) charging - NACS via Adapter
it's unclear from Porsche's announcements if the native NACS port is AC/DC or DC Only - I'm going to...
