When I ordered my car in October last year the dealer said that allocations are received each quarter start and that they had none left but there would be new allocations in January.
Sure enough, in the first few days of Jan, I received my allocation and could start tracking the car through...
I used to think it was battery drain but now my suspicion is that the BMS simply isn't fully in control of the battery SoC.
Some examples from just the last 8 weeks..
1) Drove 60 miles and left car parked up at 69% SoC. Just 90 minutes later the SoC had dropped 5%
2) Left the car for 8 days...
The drops haven't stopped since took delivery in April at around 1% per day. Dealer doesn't seem interested, says it's just the way it is for Porsche. This seems like nonsense.
Anyway, I've just parked up and left it for 16 days and it's at 36%. If the daily drop is 'only' 1%/day then it should...
The app is definitely not updating directly from the car but if you send something to the car like changing the Charge target % then the car will update the SoC with the server and from there the app.
My SoC loss seems to have increased to around 2 to 3% per day which is crazy. Arrived home yesterday after a 130 mile day trip at 37% and 24 hours later it is currently at 34% when I just checked in the car (app is useless as it doesn't update SoC). This isn't the only occurrence of very high...
My reading of the specs in the configurator is that Innodrive and Drive Assist are essentially identical and it's just a rebranding.
For the UK, though, it seems they have removed the option to have Drive Assist on the RWD and 4 models so you'd need to buy at least a 4S to get Drive Assist.
MIne was built last week of March and was at my UK dealer 3rd week of April (somewhere around 21st if I recall correctly). I took delivery a week later.
I will be speaking to my dealer this week about my 1% problem. Hopefully I can get the car booked in for diagnosis in mid January when I'm back from next holiday and will have even more evidence of the SoC drop after another 2 weeks parked up.
In summer I drove down from Manchester to Southampton and parked up for 2 weeks at 68% whilst I went on a cruise.
When I got back, the SoC was only 55% which meant I didn't quite have enough range to get to my planned lunch venue on the trip home.
So the loss does matter, although not...
Just to add another data point, just got into mine after 7 days idle.
Left the car at 79% and after 7 days when I got in it was 69%.
@TurboSpain is correct that the SoC via the app is useless and has been reporting the battery still at 79% right up until I got into the car.
Although I...
