Reverse Obstruction Beeper

When I put my EV in reverse there is a very loud beeping sound if I have the bike rack on the back. The car obviously detects a hazard. Is there a way to silence this beeping?

I was looking on eTrailer's and this seems to be a complain with many German made cars. The other complaint is often lights out indications when using some trailers..

I picked one up and it works well. The Macan seems to detect a trailer present and the rear audible and visual proximity alarms are disabled.

There are some VWs and BMW that give a lights out indication and they recomment connecting up something like this to defeat those. I haven't tried that.
