Search for my previous posts (had my car the same duration as yours. In summary - took 18 months and a car crash for Porsche to finally recognise that my Macan had a faulty camera array. That was swapped - no such issues since. However, I totally lost faith in Porsche and sold my Macan two weeks ago, as my new Mwtc GLC electric was delivered to the dealership today. If it becomes a regular issue, like mine was, definitely push Porsche to look into it properly before it potentially ends up in a costly crash.

I've had random breaking while reversing. I think the Maneuvering Interventions setting is really sensitive and thinks I'm about to hit a wall or another car. But it's a setting I don't want to turn off to prevent an accident if I'm actually about to hit something.
was your seatbelt on? this only happens if your seatbelt is not fastened.

I don't think it should be a concern on highways.

But, in the city, in parking lots and ramps of underground parkings, that sort of behavior exists, it's annoying and sometimes really concerning.
When in reverse, this behavior is very boring, because you are almost certain that you hit something, but fortunately no!

Maybe better with the latest SQ5, I don't know as I don't have my car since weeks, and the loaner I have is a non updated 2025 Macan.
Not a concern on highways!!!
Braking suddenly from 130kph to 50kph on a French Autoroute for no reason, with unsuspecting vehicles closely behind you. Absolutely a concern. Happened to me more than once - and commented on this site.

I agree (my car can lose all its power even on the highway, so I do agree), but my point was that this kind of phantom braking is, to my knowledge, very rare with the Macan on the highway, and therefore isn't generally a cause for concern.
Apparently, based on your experience, I was wrong…

Yup my seatbelt was on. Both times reverse parking, one time it thought i was about to hit a pillar on the driver's side and the other time was a parked car behind me.

To be honest I don't have an issue with the sensitive auto braking, at least I know the car is smart enough to prevent me hitting something (although there may be some false positives along the way).
