Looks like someone managed to tag the back of my car in a parking lot. No real damage, except they ripped the rubber “bump stop” to the right of the license plate.

PET shows the left & right “bump stops” integrated into the rear license plate carrier P/N 95C807847AOK1:

Anyone ever have to replace this piece before? Hoping it’s easy & doesn’t require removing the bumper/recalibrating sensors.

It ended up being a pretty simple swap…sort of. The license plate holder is attached to the bumper using plastic spreader rivets, PAF038549. To remove these, you push in on the center pin until it clicks. Then you can pry the rivet out with a taped-up screwdriver blade or a thin trim tool. Mine were in there pretty good, and by the time I got them out, they were a little deformed. It the local parts department didn’t happen to have them in stock, I would’ve reused them. But for less than $1.00 for the pair I figured that I’d splurge for new ones.

After those rivets are out, you just need to use a bit firmer trim tool to pry the inner friction-fit plastic mounts on either end away from the body. I actually think these are attached to the bumper facia themselves strongly enough that you could almost get away without the rivets, which might be there to prevent rattling more than anything else.
