Apple maps disappears on drivers display after a while

I have always appreciated when our iPhone 16's connect via carplay, and you use apple maps to set a destination, the apple maps shows up in the center of the drivers display.

But lately, after a while, it "disappears". A few seconds later the Porsche NAV screen replaces it, with no directions. Apple maps continues to show the route in the center display via carplay.

Why not use Porsche's? It has gotten the destination wrong more enough such that I trust Apple or Google more.
Anyone else notice this?

Mine has been solid. I think some of the porsche notifications may interfere. So perhaps look at why porsche nav is interupting.
