That’s a good question. To be honest, I leave my Macan in lowered and my Taycan lifted (due to the garage elevation). What I’ve noticed with the Macan is it will adjust itself as needed when parked. I’m just I didn’t answer your question, but wanted to add a sound bite and perspective.

My daily driving preference is normal chassis and lowered height. It gives me the best balance of comfort and performance for daily driving, especially with the horrible Dallas roads I drive. I also used the same combo in my Taycan 4s.

Agreed. Unfortunately “beyond a certain rate” is key. When people have made a habit of tailgating I’ve seen one too many Tesla’s get rear ended in Texas. But maybe it’s just us. I also experienced a few close calls in my Taycan when using auto regen to the point I stopped using it.

And it sucks being behind a Tesla that brakes with no brake lights! I’m not a Tesla hater but you really can’t compare a Tesla and a Porsche EV. Porsche is a sports car maker and they will always prioritize performance and driver experience over driving a computer letting the computer drive you.

I traded my Taycan 4S for the Macan EV and I'm beyond happy. Like you, I loved the Taycan. It was beautiful and fast, but quirky! The Macan's technology is a complete 180 and although it's not as fast as the Taycan, it definitely packs a punch. I don't think you'll regret it!
