The car displayed this message while driving. It wasn’t being charged at the time.
On arriving at destination wife tried to lock and unlock the car several times and the charge doors would not open.
locked car and called dealer to pick it up.
They got it to the dealer , the warning disappeared...
Lovely.... so as my Taycan has been returned to Porsche, after 12mo and 16k miles wifes car (2024 Macan 4, which other than being a rattle box has been good) gets the "high voltage system error, service required" message and neither of her charge doors will open (they are the manual ones, they...
I had something similar happen several months ago with my charge point / macan 4. It was just charging slow. No idea why. I had a timer set / departure time set. It stopped/paused and then finished and when it did it finished at normal rate (confirmed in the CP app you can see the charge...
I reached out to my dealer they said they were instructed to send anyone with issues to 1800-porsche, I'm on the line with them now... I might be one of the first calls hes gotten so we'll see how this goes.
I definitely did not get a notice in the My Porsche app or via email (I checked spam...
Ok thats the process I thought you were referring to.
I'm going to try plugging the car in tonight and see if it's still screwed up.
But yeah that will be annoying to reset everything Ugh.
Weird, not seen this, and we have 9k miles on the car, it's always respected the peak.
And this time, it did respect the 80% charge limit.
What it didn't respect is the time to charge or the finish time (basically anything in the departure rule).
Yes thats the issue, am familiar with this (in 3rd year of EV use), I'm telling the Macan to charge when rates are lowest/low, not in peak, but it started during peak and did not respect the departure rules. I'm on Solar with net metering plans so basically I only do not want to charge from 4-9pm.
Hi - had this car since November (I also own a Taycan so I'm familiar with the Departure setup).
I have had a "departure" plan setup as following since November:
7am ready, all days
At our house location
Optimized 12:15-4pm charge window (ie dont charge from 4-12am, high fees...)
Since we've...
I have both now. (Taycan CT and a Macan EV).
I can't speak for eTron.
Taycan: drives better, more like a sports car, feels more premium overall, looks better (i think), in wagon form (CT) as usable as the Macan
Macan: much better efficiency / range, easier to get in and out of, quite a bit...
I don't get all the software hate. Maybe because I live in CarPlay for 99% of the time? Only real software thing I'd like is real OTA updates. And we need access to the Tesla supercharging network ASAP.
I've yet to be in a Tesla or drive a Tesla I'd own. The ride/drive of all of them is...
Our 24 MY Macan 4 has been fine. I do get an occasional clunk over slow low speed bumps in the front end I'll have looked at at some point but thats it.
This is my wife's car and she doesnt tolerate annoyances and shes been fine with it daily driven almost 4k miles since new.
The efficiency in...
Oddly our car is fine (nov delivery) but my friend took delivery a few weeks ago and I noticed this on one of his, the lower right corner was popped out a bit and not flush with the body. He didn't notice so I didn't say anything!
