That sounds more logical than repainting the bumper. My dealer just updated the software and said that should fix it (Nope) - Though there were fewer false positives than before the update.

Hard to imagine having to replace the whole bumper - the little sensors should be easily removed and replaced, but maybe I'm mistaken, maybe the little round sensors are for something else.
My 2025 Macan 4 is doing the same - Dealer just installed the latest software update and said the problem was resolved - just returned from a 700 mile trip and found the error is still happening. I'll call soon to report, but figure they'll blame the software again
