Yep, typically soy. As a bonus........the Great Stuff foam that everyone uses to plug holes to keep mice/rats out............yep, also made of Soy. It's like plugging hole with tacos to keep me out.
I sure hope Rivian does a better job than Ford.
I own a 21 MME and while it does get updates over the air, they regularly break something else in the process, or turn off a feature you use regularly. They are getting better but I would not say it is great by any stretch of the imagination...
I have a 21 MME and use PAAK exclusively. That being said, if my phone is in my back pocket when I approach the car it can be hit or miss if it connects. Phone in hand is usually not an issue.
I'm happy with mine. I do agree it charges slow and makes road trips much longer than I would like. I'm at 104k+ miles so it's time to start looking for a replacement. that's why I'm here...........really like the Macan
I drive a Mach E. I got hit in the grill by a piece of truck tire that got kicked up by the car in front of me. Louvers were damaged but didn't seem that bad. Replace the louvers and be done. Wrong. It is one piece across the whole front of the car, cooling radiator directly behind them was...
Hey, just want to make sure that any of my comments are not to demean you or imply you screwed up in any way. We are all learning to manage these situations.
Sound like the dealer did you a solid by grabbing a new car and just didn't think to check it's charge. EVs are new to most manufacturers...
I just want to add that I think the dealer did you a disservice by letting you leave with a loaner that had little charge. That should not have happened, IMHO
I'm glad to see the on board nav takes into account much more than just distance.
I've only been driving an Ev for a little over 3 yrs now and I learned a lot on this journey. Back up plans are your friend when traveling. Never rely on just your first choice to be enough.
My FIL recently...
Yes. Also, the EA app (for example) will tell you how many chargers are available, working or occupied for a given location. I generally try and have a couple of options planned out and not just assume a given location will be fine
I used to think a lease afforded a cheaper monthly payment as well. Looking at Porsches site, the monthly numbers are much closer than I would have expected
That's the way my Mach E works. If it's plugged into the home charger it will maintain the 12v battery. I plug the car in every day whether it needs charging or not and so far I have not had an issue with the 12v. Still on the original one in fact.
