I check with my dealer, they told me all their Macan EV are having this thumping sound which according to them is characteristic of the Macan. There are no long term safety or reliability issue according to them.

The missing compartment for sunglass. Yes, it is annoying. Currently there are no like place to temporary put the sunglasses when you want to just exit the car for a short time.

the active parking function is there in the Macan, just a shame that that remote function is not available like the Taycan.
