I've just spoken to the Porsche Centre who tell me that they must apply the 'big software update' as it mentions imrpoved connectivity.
I asked if that was just 5G, and they weren't sure, but they won't do anything until they have had my car for 2 days to update the software.
It is no longer that easy - if you have a compatible car, they insist on connecting through that.
The workaround is to find an incompatible 100kWh car and 'lie' about having that, at which point they will allow a charger connection.
Yes, I could get the charger to work but what I really want...
Mine stopped working 6 days ago. It has always been flaky (I came from Tesla, where it was rock solid), but the Porsche has always fixed itself within 24-48 hours.
It has never been broken this long.
It's a real pain as I can't remotely defrost my car in the morning, and as my electricity...
Another thing that I've noticed is that the right hand information 'circle' tells me that Android Auto is active rather than also putting the next turn direction on the dash.
So it affects the dash and the HUD.
I've had this and, after much searching, I discovered that the strip for the ambient lighting creaks against the dash.
It always appeared to come from the passenger side approximately in the glove box area.
Pressing on it replicates the sound and holding it when I'm the passenger stops it...
It may well be related to the new European cyber security laws that specifically relate to cars - maybe the complexity of the passwords had to be increased to comply? https://www.coro.net/blog/what-new-eu-cybersecurity-rules-mean-for-carmakers#toc-2114040-1
It is configurable but, some the software on my car was updated by Porsche, if I select the power meter in the display, it doesn't appear.
It worked previously but since the software update, it doesn't display in the HUD even when configured.
I have this and reported it to the dealers. It seems to be standard on all Macan EVs (unfortunately)..
It tilts down but the furthest it can physically go is still too high to see the curb.
