Fully agree, in The Netherlands and the rest of continental Europe there are so many fastchargers that range is no concern at all. So what if you have to charge for 5-10 minutes.
Hi, I have the Thule XL low on a 4S. No problem at all with opening the gate, more than enough room between box and gate.
Very satisfied using it for wintersport, just don’t look at fuel efficiency, driving in sub-zero temperatures on the autobahn😂
And even more than in summer: do all your necessary braking on the straight before a corner, enter it at low speed and accelerate out of the corner when you feel the grip is sufficient and your car has turned.
In The Netherlands we have had a few weeks of really serious winter driving. And have been to the Alps for Christmas.
Wintertires (Michelin 20’) and 4wheel drive are very helpful, and combined with a defensive attitude make driving a 4S an effortless experience in winter.
Sorry to hear this…
Had the same experience with a 4S on a quiet dry autobahn, Sunday morning at 7am. Very stable, sport+ setting really useful, great acceleration above 200km/hr, beating fast ICE cars
Range estimation is derived from your consumption the last few hundred miles. Image what happened to me after driving on the German autobahn with 220km/hour average
So, the range estimate doesn’t say anything about the state of your battery, but just extrapolates your recent driving. Nothing to...
I use a Tesla Wall Charger, scheduling in the car works good, I don’t use anything outside the scheduling in the car.
But scheduled charge is consistently reached one hour before scheduled departure time. Seems indeed like a bug.
