Car back - from when the engineer looked at it took 4 days. Just he had a backlog to get to mine. Was a few bonnet sensors causing system to malfunction. All ok now.
So the AA (Porsche Assist) tried everything but got a call today from Porsche.
It turns out that some sensors under the bonnet caused an outage. Parts ordered and should be ready early next week. I'll keep you posted.
Any one heard of any macan going unresponsive? Similar to no power but its 70% charged. Ignores key fob, Won't lock, no power, no dash, can't start but interior lights work and centre console.....
Its @ porsche and the have no idea either....
Big news! 4.35pm on Friday apparently porsche has updated the software on my car and fixed it!
Apparently I'm the first in UK to have it.
Picking it up Monday at 9am.
Hi,
So an update but not a great one. They have now got a technician in from Germany to help fault find. Still no fix, another week at least. They do have numerous cars with this problem at porsche uk.
Just had a call from my dealership and they think they have the issue! They have spent 3 days with tech experts from Germany. Apparently there is a process to follow but they are hoping to have it fixed by the end of the week!
