i have a DR770x Pro 3cam ... the main unit is installed in the back and so is the LTE module.

but it can be used .... just not as easy as with other hotspots. I use the LTE Module and it works fine.

it is tricky as it seems the hotspot has to be turn on and off(reset) each time you start the car. At least that is how it is on my car. it may connect to the SSID but the internet backend needs to be reset. (My personal experience)

thanks since the error appeared (and went away) the unit only charges at 3.8kwh no other options or recovery ... only 3.x kwh anymore. Thank you

My 12 V battery draw is higher than on maybe someone else's car who does not have a dashcam. if the 12V is less used the car should also less likely take too much if any to charge the 12V ...so the SoC loss is less as well. Mine is 1% SoC loss per day as my 12V battery is drained constantly.

The downside that I have found out is that my insurance (geico) is not going to cover the extra cost to reapply the ppf if a damage is done to repair they will pay for the paint work but not the added wrap. They are nickel and dime ing everything the even hackle with dealerships on pricing...

Yes based on my test now anything below 15%SoC will stop its maintaining of the LV battery.
