Nice :) BTW, nice work on the external camera integration too
There’s certainly no shortage of live kangaroos around here (and sadly a lot of road kill ones too)
I’ve heard that apparently car manufacturers find kangaroos particularly hard to deal with from an autonomous driving perspective as...
I’m nor so sure - at least in Australia. The satellite maps are the same as google maps but the live traffic data is quite different from what I can see. And then there is this reference to TomTom in the Nav database copyright?? 🤔
On this one, did this look like it was an official Porsche thing or a dealer thing? I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to sign something like this. In fact I was a little miffed my Macan was charged to 100% when I took delivery. A nice gesture but probably not the best way to start.
In my decades of experience buying new cars and being on car forums I’ve developed a theory. The more you try to screw the dealer buying the car, the more they return the favour when you go to service it.
Nice write up Heavywun :CWL:
It’s possible the Tesla charger was slow because they’re only 400v so the Macan will need to split the pack to match this with a lower kW rate the consequence. My googling and chatGPT’ing skills aren’t up to working out which chargers in Australia are 800v sadly...
I did a search but only found two other reference to this issue in a broader assistance systems thread. Thought it might be worth a dedicated thread.
I should preface the following by saying that I'm very happy with my Turbo that I picked up in April. It makes me feel like when I had my first...
Yeah, the Porsche dashcam is a bloody terrible thing to set up. If you are using an iPhone, be aware that you need to disable mobile data first for the Porsche dashcam app otherwise you’ll get stuck in a loop where it won’t connect. That one thing had me cursing for hours. Only worked it out...
It’s probably a bit hard to tell but the front plastic number plate holders used in Australia are substantially smaller than yours. I took it off a few weeks back as it was loose and it certainly looked like a Porsche genuine part. Unfortunately it’s well and truly stuck back on now so I can’t...
Nice write up Heavywun.
As I couldn’t get my normal garage door remote to pair with my Model S, I bought the Tesla Homelink compatible receiver and it worked well. Oddly, I was not able to get it to pair with my Macan. On a whim, I tried pairing my old garage door remote to the Macan assuming...
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I remember reading on this forum somewhere that normal mode generally only runs the rear motor (more efficient) where sport and sport plus run both
