Hi
I've got a macan 4 for about 1 year now
I know the software part can be a bit fuzzy (key changing its user profile, etc, false alerts, etc.)
But this time it's really weird
I've the "air suspension" trim.
I use it quite often, changing manually the car level from up, normal, low, lowest...
Exactly the same for me: never hard issue for 5 teams with my x5. I think Porsche is not at the top about IT things. Just see how much Time it takes to load apps on screen on each driver switch (and same apps on both!!)
Hi.
I've got 2 time the same issue with driver seat memory going fuzzy
I've registered 2 driver profiles, having 1 key = 1 profile of course, & with wheel, seats & air conditionning settings totally differents.
So far, so good, for a couple of months
Then suddenly : no more memory working...
hi. I had the same issue. Finally decided to go to the dealer to do software upgrade. I also had issue with seat memory. Was fine until 1 day, it decides to switch seat settings between the 2 keys, while the user profile is correct on dashboard main screen. and it was event without having the...
it happens quite often to me also (model of october 2024)
I did not yet got any software update (remotely neither at dealer)
what I get is :
- warning the driving assistance is out of service (lane keeping / speed limits, etc)
- 3-split mode screen (height | media | sound&spoiler): some part...
I went on vacation leaving the car with 60% outdoor. Came back 11 dayw later with 2-3% less. No Problem at all. It was end décember in Belgium. Si not a Canadian winter, not Spain either
the same for me : i have a 718 too. I had the feeling the 718 brakes were quite strong compared to other brands. Then I got the macan & it was like I had to really press the 718 brakes to have some effect ;-)
When I will have to drive a "normal" car, I will have to be very very cautious with...
i was also asking myself. I use the regeneration. only at the very final moment when about to stop, I feel a very strong braking that always susprises me; : I don't press harder.
can someone explain me where I can check the software version ?
also @TomekGnomek , can you tell us if you've got the innoDrive are just the regular LaneKeep ?
I think that people riding an ICE before never care about the range of they care, assuming it is easy to find a gas station AND it "charges" in 5'
They are concerned about these 2 parameters : ok to find a charger, but if it is a 11kW, and have to stay there for 3 hours....
same for me. On the road for 2 months, about 4500 km
average t0 -5 -> 12° C
running battery between 100% (home charge) & 12% (once, otherwise charging at 45-50% to get it full overnight)
tried a couple of time testa & non tesla SuC with success
no issue at all, except some latency from time to...
and to be honest, the detection system in my "old" (5 years) X5 was much better than the Porsche. speed limits recognition, detecting cars coming as "in direct front" while not, lanes that aren't really lanes (or when double, with works & regular) etc... I can understand people prefer to keep...
You can disable the lanekezping by long pressing the small button under the Cruise control stick. About 3 secs. You can see the effect on the screen behind the steering.
you will see « off » displayed (vert bottom of the screen)
the "brutal" line keeping is mandatory by regulatory in Europe. Very annoying if drive "close" to the line. I always de-activate when I start driving (as well as the "beeep" speed limit warning)
I use the 3 columns display, select "more" then click on the very last line that is partially hidden...
in the user manual is written : need to use an external 12V power supply. Remove a cache on the left on the front bumper, near a sensor, there are 2 cables hidden there. then use the button on the fob
this is a 55x25x40 cm luggage (which is in EU the very maximum companies accept as hand luggage)
it fitted perfectly, even with the additional frunk waterproof coverage installed
yes, the luggage goes above the upper limit of the frunk, but still you can easily close it without pushing hard the...
