I assumed since there's no engine, an EV will generate heat right away when you turn on the heater but it took like 5 minutes of driving before I sensed warmer air coming in. Was hoping a benefit would be no longer having to wait for a warm engine but is this not the case with EVs?
It was 109 F where I was yesterday and noticed for the first time that the AC can't seem to keep both the cabin and battery cool. I have the AC set to "Low". The battery temp was 101 when I got back to the car and drove home and noticed the AC wasn't working very well. It was struggling to keep...
Really annoying and not sure if anyone knows of a way to fix this but the hotspot doesn't turn on automatically so my Android Auto doesn't connect until I manually toggle on the vehicle hotspot.
The manual doesn't really say how you can open the door. It shows you how to unlock it from the outside by pulling 5x on the handle and then put the fob on the VIN part of the windshield like some weird mating ritual.. also to manually lock the doors using the key in the glovebox. But nothing...
Anyone tried finding something to put to block the sunroof completely? I live in the SW and I have nano ceramic tint but that only blocks the sun directly but the sun heats up the roof glass and radiates heat down on the back passengers after a while.
Something like this but that would work...
Does anyone know if it's safe to put nano ceramic tint on the sunroof glass as well as the back windows to block more heat? I have the laminated acoustic glass so it's already darkened so I am thinking to get like a 50% or 70% film just to block more heat.
Has anyone done this and was happy...
Anyone know the dimensions of the back seat, like the post #5 here https://www.macanforum.com/threads/macan-interior-dimensions.14665/ where it shows min/max of 570 to 820mm?
I understand the backseat on the Macans are not spacious so I'm wondering how much of an issue it is to fit rear facing convertible car seats back there? Some car seats are bigger than others, has anyone run into an issue of not being able to install one due to space limitations without...
For me the only time I ever don't want to drive is stop and go traffic, has anyone used it for that and found it reliable? Overall do you feel it's worth getting that option?
I live in the southwest where it gets really hot during summer so I'm wondering if the panoramic sunroof is a liability. Anyone have any insight into it? Can I install ceramic tint on it? It doesn't have a cover like a normal sunroof right?
