  1. Digital Key keeps failing.

I bought my car through Porsche Retail Group, Hatfield, and they have looked at the issues I raised, and also reported them to Porsche - they appear to be good. However, without a feedback loop to us users, Porsche feels like a black hole! Interestingly, I recently received a satisfaction...
  2. September 2026 Consumption - Post Yours

  3. Digital Key keeps failing.

    D'oh! Try this.
  4. Digital Key keeps failing.

I suggest you look at this thread wrt driver profiles.
  5. Digital Key keeps failing.

So I tried with physical key only, sing foot then move towards drivers door. Standing by the back wing, boot did not close - louder beeps error. Try again. At the back door handle, it closed, which to be fair was very similar to my phone, maybe the phone had to be slightly closer to the drivers...
  6. Digital Key keeps failing.

I tried this tonight; like you mention, I had the key and my iPhone 13 Pro Max in my pocket. A flick of the foot, then walked to the drivers door, boot closed no problem. I'll try with phone only tomorrow, without the key, and report my findings.
  7. GTS - Displays go blank when driver door is closed / car won’t power up.

I experienced the cetre PCM screen going blank, and the first time I was in Norfolk in a bad reception area. Holding the volume button down for 12-15 secs rebooted the PCM and it worked after that. I have reported this to Porsche, but no idea if that made it to the factory/engineers.
  8. UK - options price and lead time.

We are a few months on, who knows how the landscape has changed! The Macan pricing/options have also changed a good bit, so now some stuff is 'included' without a corresponding price hike, and maybe they knew these changes were coming 😉 . I sent you some details in a PM. Good luck with the search.
  9. Digital Key keeps failing.

When DK fails for me, and I revert to NFC, I found I had to lock the car myself (with NFC). it Is how I ‘know’ DK has failed! Once reset, all seems fine again. With the boot gesture, I had the trouble you are seeing initially. I thought it was broken! Disabled/re-enabled got it sorted, now I...
  10. Why I'm leaving Porsche, I've had enough

That's been my experience with Porsche so far too. Long may it last!
  11. Engineering Review” of Macan EV GTS

Well they share a name, that is something 🤣!
  12. Why I'm leaving Porsche, I've had enough

I enjoyed the read, but the experience sounds really bad! My local BMW service dept is great, the master tech, when needed, is very helpful, and a great bloke too! Actually talking to the service team over the phone is now a real challenge, everything is through an automated system that will...
  13. Why I'm leaving Porsche, I've had enough

Yes probably. That's why I ended up in a Porsche - BMW dealer pissed me off, so after 30+ years of BMW's we now have a Macan rather than an iX1 or iX3. But if this turns in to a disaster, I will move on. I heard (through family) the Audi dealers were crap at after sales, so after an initial...
  14. MY26 Macan RWD loaner car vs. MY26 Macan Turbo – Owner’s Comparison

An excellent first hand write up, this was so lacking (I couldn't find one) when I was looking around! I assume you backed off the side and bottom bolsters on the 18-way? Personal preference of course, but I went with the 18-ways after testing all combinations for extended drives, and I find...
  15. Long Term Update: Tires & Battery State of Health (SoH) After 30,000 KM (1 year)

Have you noticed the range change downwards when charged to the same capacity?
  16. Why I'm leaving Porsche, I've had enough

I have no idea if this is regional, but I fear that if there are problems, the experience quickly turns to shit with Porsche. For a premium brand (read expensive cars) that should not be the case.
  17. Tyre insurance (UK)

I understand if you use the tempor gel, the tyre is junk afterwards. It is normal for them to refuse close to the tyre wall, they say the patch won’t stick due to the tyre flexing. I have had one repaired where I was told it was on the limit, a repair would be on me if it failed, which I...
  18. List of “connected networks to the Porsche Charging Service”?

Porsche just marketing emailed about longer journeys, and that led me to read the article. Included was a web based map/planner, which I couldn't previously find: https://porsche-production.discover.chargetrip.com/plan-route
  19. Nav - set home charging

Is there a way to inform the navigation/planner that you have a home charger, so it doesn't attempt to do a quick stop and charge on the way home? In the app I changed battery capacity at destination to 3%, which is fine for getting home, less smart for other destinations.
  20. Tyre insurance (UK)

I'm curious, were the tyres non-repairable for some reason?
