  1. Why I'm leaving Porsche, I've had enough

There seems to be little consistency in the services at Porsche dealers. I wonder if it is related to how busy / successful the dealer is. The more cars they sell the better the sales experience and the more experience the service team get. An unsuccessful dealership probably pays less...
  2. Summarizing issues with macan ev turbo 2024 after close to two years and 33k miles

MatC21. I totally agree that the Cayenne drives different to the Macan. If you prefer ‘sporty’ then the Macan provides it. All I was responding to was the comment that other than size there was no difference. I see that in the US they are now including options as standard - I think that is...
  3. Summarizing issues with macan ev turbo 2024 after close to two years and 33k miles

If you did a bit of research you would find there are considerable differences between the Macan and Cayenne. I owned a Macan and now have a Cayenne - virtually every aspect is an improvement. Just a few examples, on delivery it downloaded a map update OTA, range with full ac on and mix of...
  4. Summarizing issues with macan ev turbo 2024 after close to two years and 33k miles

I had a 4S and traded it against a Cayenne EV Coupe. It’s very early days but the forum has had no real reports of failures / issues. If you can afford the increase then I suggest you look closely at the Cayenne EV.
  5. Auto speed limiter fault

I think it is strange for you to continue to use it in an area you know it will slam on the brakes. I think the saying “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result” may apply here.
  6. Auto speed limiter fault

I think you would struggle to convince a judge that Porsche are responsible for poor signage in the UK. I feel sure the judge will point you to the warning words that Porsche tell you about the potential failures in the option. He would also point out you the driver are responsible for driving...
  7. Auto speed limiter fault

The easiest way to overcome the issue is to turn it off. As Awaz says, there are a lot of posts on here about the issue. It is a combination of things - the wrong limit in the Sat Nav (Porsche has known about this for over a year), the cameras picking up some slip roads with limit signs, signs...
  8. Bose sound stopped working

There were post about this last year. There are images showing disconnecting the Bose and reconnecting seemed to resolve the issue. https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/bose-sound-stopped-working.17212/
  9. Macan latest update and recall killed my EV

My car was booked in just after the update was released. The day before, the dealer called to say that they were suspending all updates as they had 2 cars which were ‘bricked’ due to the update. The cars were completely dead. Not long after they re-booked it as they had installed a newer version...
  10. Battery % on arrival estimate way off

My car was in for the last 3 days for a number of range reporting issues. The technician said it was down to me switching from summer tyres to winter ones. I explained they are all season and the range increased ditching the Bridgestones. It has to go in again, hopefully this time to someone who...
  11. Clock on left side of dash and clock in the PCM center screen off by an hour

When the clocks changed previously in the UK the server did take a day or two to sort out the correct time. There was a thread on it as it was fairly widespread in the UK. In my case it took 3 days and then righted itself.
  12. Going in For Recall Service - any thoughts?

I said its not a recall as they are Safety Recalls - in the UK there is only one Safety Recall and that effected just 18 cars with an Airbag issue - https://www.check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk/recall-type/vehicle/make/PORSCHE/model/Macan%20Electric/year/2025/recalls Good luck with the...
  13. Going in For Recall Service - any thoughts?

In the UK those ‘issues’ are not a recall - since the software upgrade I have noticed no improvements but now have the ‘battery balancing issue’ and random range showing.
  14. Unable to close boot

Same issue with the boot not fully closing happened today. I manually closed it and it shut and the warning was turned off. It’s going in for the battery balance issue in mid April and they’ll hopefully fully resolve the boot soft close’.
  15. Are model year 2026 Macan EVs problem-free?

My 2025 developed this last Saturday. It was a systems /software issue rather than a mechanical one.
  16. Unable to close boot

I had a similar problem. The boot would close but not the final ‘soft close’. I could only drive with the warning buzzer. It was Saturday, so I took it to the dealers not expecting anyone available but yet again Colchester provided an excellent service. The technician did all the checks I had...
  17. Issues Getting Parts for Bodywork Repairs

The shortage of parts is one of the reason the car thefts are as high as they are. Those that aren’t sent overseas are broken down into parts as spares. I was surprised that they are stealing cars worth £ 50k+ and breaking them up but there is very little risk of getting caught compared to...
  18. Ghost departure times in app

    Glad you solved it
  19. Ghost departure times in app

I think that the difference in approach is the cause of the issues. I much prefer the Porsche approach which ensures the car has the required charge at the planned departure time. The suppliers approach seems to be to delay start until the low charge time commences - this means the car may not...
  20. Ghost departure times in app

The UK App issues a warning about possible clashes with charger schedules
