I think you've exhausted the options and not likely to be user error. The system has limitations which are outlined in the manual but to be honest I wouldn't use it as it just wouldn't work in my use cases nor would I trust it if it did.

I believe it is. GAP is tricky to discount as it is an insurance policy not underwriters by Porsche. Gtechniq is normally provided by the dealer direct and so lots of room for movement.

I've had it on most of my Porsches from new and I would recommend. Particularly good job on my 911. I've not polished either car since new (the Macan has turned 4 now) and both gleam.

Yip, in my view. I'm used to larger vehicles (Panamera, various Cayennes and several Taycans) as they afford more space which is a luxury. That said the Cayenne is the same width and only 20 cm longer. Add RAS and the perception of size issues dissipates.
