When I try to log in after scanning the QR code I get a message that a Apple Music subscription is required, and it takes me back to the login dialog.
I will get a screenshot when I am back by the car.
I installed the app this afternoon and found out that it requires a Apple Music subscription, which I don’t have. I purchase music from the iTunes Store and it resides in the library on my phone, and I was hoping the app would be able to play that.
I’m not going to subscribe to a fifth music...
But you can have music in your library that wasn’t purchased from the iTunes store. If you ripped CDs they will appear as albums in your library, and you can’t re-download them from the cloud to a new device — the only way to transfer them is using a device-to-device setup or by restoring a full...
Try contacting Suncoast Parts. They don't have the Macan EV model on their website, but they have it for other cars including the ICE Macan. Suncoast may be able to source it.
Sadly the Settings -> Sound -> Volume -> Navigation announcements setting in the PCM also affects Waze. You can't turn off the native traffic congestion and construction alerts without also muting Waze.
Exactly. I used to commute to and from the office on Los Angeles' notorious 405 -- there is always traffic ahead, next to me, and behind. The announcements are a useless distraction.
I had a rental car recently with a capacitive touch strip for climate controls and accessing things like the car's navigation system etc., located below the infotainment screen and central air vents. I cannot overstate how horrible that was.
Trying to hit a specific little icon on the touch...
Yes, unfortunately that silences the navigation announcements as well. You'll have to turn up the volume again as needed if you rely on the nav announcements.
I agree with everyone else, that's 100% not acceptable. The dealership most likely has a strict policy against carrying any parties not necessary for the diagnostic, service and repair of the vehicle in the car.
Consider what would happen if the car got into an accident. Since you are handing...
Eventually range anxiety will be for those who own ICEs, regardless of how much money they have.
Here in California gas stations keep disappearing, and some municipalities don’t even allow new gas stations to be constructed.
EVs in general are poorly supported by legacy auto makers that have dabbled in them, as well as their dealers. They have decades of experience selling and servicing ICE vehicles, and seem to be reluctant and ignorant when it comes to EVs. If they don't adapt, they will eventually be left behind...
That's a significant number of lost jobs, but Porsche also has years to make those cuts. Many will be covered by routine retirements and resignations, while others may take early retirement.
It's also quite possible that those plans will change (either up or down) in the next nine years.
