@daveo4EV , some of the things you mention as "new" have been present on the non-AR HUD of the Taycan, such as navigation information (actually more detailed than PCM on my Taycan). I don't remember if lane selection shows up, but 75% it does (my Taycan decided it wanted to spend the holidays...

Congrats on the new car! I test drove Macan Turbo EV recently and was quite impressed. Porsche is definitely making progress in the EV scene. If they had them available a year earlier (and had available allocations), one would be in my garage today next to the Taycan. If you want to feel better...

They make exceptions all the time, check out North American cars, or even US vs. Canadian cars. Some of those are not even just software (e.g. Canadian vs. US seatbelt latches).

It might seem like just a red herring, but consider thisL a 3 phase connected EU Taycan with an upgraded onboard charger can charge at 22kW, but in NA on a single phase only 19.2KW. 2.8kW difference between EU and NA, on a 22kW the difference you are seeing is exactly half (11kW-9.6kW = 1.4kW)...

If that someone is the guy who sized the charge port wiring for NA cars, it's not easily fixable.
