Programming tip:
If (chargeCableConnected){
don't close chargedoor...
}
This took some considerable lateral force on the chargedoor to free up the connector.
Lesson learned today, before disconnecting the chargecable first try to get as much snow out as possible so that the automatic sliding door doesn't jam on all the snow.
After removing the cable you have about 5 seconds to clear out the snow which in my case was not enough...
I had to break out...
I have this in cold weather on my summer tires. I think it's because of the very narrow turning radius you can achieve, it feels like the front tires jump a little.
I never did get a reply from Porsche about this.
So I went another route, I have bought a ABB Terra wallbox (TAC-W22-G5-RD-MC-0). This Wallbox can be administered over OCPP1.6J which is very well documented.
Without this it already works with my Macan, there are several possibilities, you can...
I have these as my winterset, I can report that they have a way better ride than my Bridgestone Enliten summertime tires which will not find their way back on my car.
I never asked the dealer about it because I totally forgot about it. And the reason I totally forgot about it must be because it no longer squeakes. Funny how that works, when it's there it's annoying but when it goes away I don't even notice it went away.
Yes, but probably from the inside.
My situation is that I'm walking up to the car, put my dog in the back and then get access to the goodbye screen and set the two preferences. Now I have to buckle up, put the car in drive, then in park and unbuckle. That makes the screen appear.
Let's hijack this post: I want to get to the goodbye screen sometimes to be able to turn off the alarm and keep the vehicles systems running. This is my way of getting to some kind of dog mode that turns off the alarm and keep the airconditioning running.
All I ever came up with is put the...
I don't think it works for everyone in Europe but for most. And that's because most of us have or can request three phase power.
Here's a little table:
16 A → 0.69282 × 16 = 11.09 kW
20 A → 0.69282 × 20 = 13.86 kW
25 A → 0.69282 × 25 = 17.32 kW
32 A → 0.69282 × 32 = 22.17 kW
40 A → 0.69282 ×...
I did not do anything special, so no compatibility mode.
I only used compatibility mode once when I had trouble charging at a DC charger, I think that was in Belgium. I think compatibility mode turns off after each drive just like the speed warning and the lane keep assist (thanks EU for adding...
