Wow! I'm going to go right out and see if my car has healed itself. Not hopeful since I try it nearly every day just to see if something's changed. Inconsistency like this is even worse that consistently bad.

Mine did not come with both adapters. They told me they banned the 120V plug due to fire hazards, so that’s why mine didn’t come with it.

So far, no fires. Will keep an eye out for one. 😉

I just looked at the Weathertech website. The images of the cargo liner for the Macan electric show a mat the doesn't have as high a side protector as my OEM cargo liner. I just took an image of my car with the (dirty) cargo liner in place. I'll try to post it in this message. Feel free to...
Couple of other things to try. . .
Try going to your local EA In the middle of the night when no other cars are charging and see if that helps. Also try calling the EA phone number on the charger while connected and see if they can trouble shoot.

Just a quick update.
I’ve now used the “switcheroo” technique several times over the last week as I was afraid my success might have been a one-off. Each time I charged at home I tried the 220v Tesla home charger first and each time it failed to connect. I then switched on my voltage regulator...
So sorry to hear this didn't work for you. There are many posts in this and other threads in which this procedure has been successful. You might want to turn the car off and let the car sit overnight and try again in the morning. If no success I hope you can return the voltage regulator.

Interesting that you bring up travel charging at L1/L2 chargers. I had been relieved that the voltage regulator trick had worked for me and thought, since I'm planning a near cross-country trip in a couple of months, I have a solution that would allow me to charge at hotel stops by bringing the...
I did exactly as you initially described in your note. I plugged the 110v into the driver’s side charge port. I waited until there was a green surround on the button and interior lights all went green. I further waited until I saw the power starting to climb on the center screen. Then I pressed...
I purchased this for $79 on Amazon. For $13 less you can get one with a pointer meter instead of a digit one.

My update:
The voltage regulator arrived this evening. Plugged it in to my “110v” outlet, set the voltage to 110v attached there Porsche charger to the regulator, and plugged it into the charge port on my car. . .
got the same unable to charge message and red lights. Dropped the voltage to...
My local Porsche dealer service department got back to me. They said they know of the issue, have no idea when it will be fixed, presumably with a software update, and I should wait for a letter from Porsche. I pointed out that I do 99% of my charging at home. They invited me to use the...
Porsche West Denver not returning my calls. Awaiting arrival of voltage regulator since simply using my Porsche 110v adapter without it gave same error.

Have the same new issue after charging without problem on my 12 year old Tesla 220v charger in my garage over the past 9 months. Did get the update several months ago and this only happened over the past two days (leaving the car off overnight didn’t help). Today I tried to charge using the...
Reviving this older thread. . .
I’ve been using my old gen 1 Tesla AC 220v charger on my Macan 4 since purchase in May ‘25 without any problems. Yesterday, neither charge port would initiate a charge. Lots of clicking, green lights on charger, stopping and starting, then error message in car...
When this happened to me several months ago, I found that going into the center display 3 column display, removing the ride height column and replacing it with something else, the going back in and re-adding the ride height column fixed the issue. Worth a try, since simple.

Although I have no accessibility features selected in my car, the Center Display Notifications App always displays that I have one 1 message available when I enter the car. When I open the Notifications app, the 1 message is that driver accessibility features are running and it does not allow...
