āComes standardā means theyāve baked the cost of the option into the price. Like PASM or glass roof comes standard for some models but not others - doesnāt mean the glass roof is already there but covered (looking at you Tesla).

Edit: and it was delivered tonight 11/3, the day after I posted this. No shipping notice from Porsche nor FedEx. Just under 2 months from order to delivery, thatās fine for a free adapter.
The conflation of harmless notifications (that go away on their own) and rare problems (which are actually serious and deserve attention) used to draw some of the conclusions here is at best misleading, at worst dishonest.
