Another vote here for no battery loss when the car goes days (or even a couple of weeks) without being used.

Setting a charger as a destination does not precondition the battery. Only happens if the charger is a stop on the journey.

Several threads covered this - unplugging the 12v battery for a bit fixes the issue.

This doesn’t open the flap, it releases the charging cable so it can be unplugged.

Confirmation email at 5:27p ET on 9/9 and so far no adapter and no shipping notice either. Just a data point. Edit: and it was delivered tonight 11/3, the day after I posted this. No shipping notice from Porsche nor FedEx. Just under 2 months from order to delivery, that’s fine for a free adapter.

The conflation of harmless notifications (that go away on their own) and rare problems (which are actually serious and deserve attention) used to draw some of the conclusions here is at best misleading, at worst dishonest. Sad world we live in.
