I feel it worth mentioning that the green lane markings and follow distance dot matrix disappear pretty quickly. Most of the time, at least as has been my experience, the HUD is just that of a standard heads up like most any other car. Only the yellow warning and arrows (if using native nav)...
I made an appointment with the dealer, unfortunately they don't have a loaner vehicle so I can leave mine until 1/23. I'm somewhat used to this with my prior Rivian, but would have hoped for faster service scheduling with Porsche.
I can deal with the random glitches, settings changing randomly when I get in the car, driving assistance having random errors, but this is one I will not put up with should it continue to happen.
For the 2nd time now, my rear drivers-side door would not open. Neither the inside nor the outside...
We will likely always have an EV, I enjoy it as a daily, but I have zero desire to go completely EV.
We have a diesel F450, gas Yukon road-tripper, Z06, some classic muscle cars, etc. So an EV fits the daily drive needs, it can’t replace the others.
FYI - PCNA just called as they said they would and have successfully fixed my issue. They had to reprovision (or request something with Verizon) to bascially reset the connection. The support agent I spoke with, I believe his name was Nathan, stated to call PCNA if you are having any issues...
There are no words on a car optioned without the screen. The actual dash is slightly different with whatever door insert material chosen actually filling a small area below the vertical piano black space.
What you are seeing is the passenger display in a standby kind of mode.
I would only option it if I lived where it snowed quite a bit. Less for the actual snow, but more for the dirty road mist/debris that covers the rear of winter cars. I did not opt for it, no regrets!
Not my photo. Doesn’t look like snow even had much of an impact. Even more in the no wiper camp!
I would have opted for beige leather interior instead of chalk. Early on, the configurator showed stitched door panels and I naively assumed this to be correct. More leather inside would go a long way toward helping the cheaper plastic bits.
-Rear window shades - completely not necessary...
I do think it is worth mentioning that the "carbon wheels" are actually just inserts and not what I would consider a true carbon wheel (GT350, C8 Z06, etc.) If appearance is your goal, check, but when I saw that they were only inserts there was no way I could justify the asking price for that...
Great question…I honestly don’t recall what all I signed up for early, but did enroll before taking delivery as I had the car on the app. I for sure signed up for whatever was available at the time, connect and what I remembered as just the basic data pass service. It would be odd if that was...
I haven't seen it posted so I assume this issue is unique to me, but is anyone else having issue with the built-in data pass working? Initially the activiation was pending, so a call to PCNA and that was resolved, at least on the website as it now shows active. Car shows 5G on the center...
I PPF'd and ceramic coated mine, even if this ends up only being a 1-2 year vehicle... For me, there is never a thought about whether it makes finanical sense, because it never does. But now the car is mostly protected so I won't see rock chips or other issues during my ownership. Same thing...
I would be okay with 2 mph, but I am seeing 3-4. Not just using Waze, but it was a combination of speed box on my phone as well as a school zone speed sign I passed this morning which seemed to reasonably agree with phone gps.
I guess I’ll just get used to it, but a bit annoying to report so...
I have not reached out to my dealer yet, but had my cruise control set to 80 mph and though it odd traffic was all over my rear bumper. Pulled up Waze and realized my actual speed is around 4 mph slower than indicated at 80. Even at lower speeds (50 +/-) my speedometer is reading 2-3 mph...
