On a whim, I asked the Porsche voice activated assist to "Turn on automatic recuperation". Works! Now I can hands-free turn on/off regen. I have my diamond button set to turn on rear camera - I have markers on the garage floor I can line up to assure I am parked in the perfect spot.

I went with the Brushed Aluminum - a carryover from by boxter, which was tan interior with Brushed Aluminum interior trim. Very subtle effect but it adds to the color scheme.
